Costa Brava - L'Estratit to Pals, via Torroella de Montgri

Today was pure delight. A morning walk along the foreshore in L'Estratit, a short bus ride to Torroella de Montgri where the Monday market was in full swing, then second local bus to the mediaeval town of Pals - arriving just before noon.

Pals is just beautiful - with its Roman history it reminds me of villages in Umbria and Tuscany. We spent a lazy day and evening wandering around the cobblestone streets. And found time for a yummy lunch - I had a salad with foie gras, apple and pomegranate. Domi had grilled rabbit with aioli. I tasted a small part of rabbit - a first. It was delicious and so tender - but difficult not to think of cute little bunnies, so not sure that I'll have that again.

We've just returned from a (light) dinner on a terrazza under blue skies at 9pm. Spanish Way!  A bit overboard on the photos - so much to see and enjoy in just one day.

Tomorrow we'll take a short walk back to the coast, to Begur.

Hasta maƱana
