Can it really only have been 21 kms? Tough trail. Started with a long climb out of Cadaques, then lots of tricky up and down between beach coves. Slow going for me at times as I tried to keep my footing and avoid the cactus! It was Saturday and lovely to see local people out and about enjoying the sun and the sea.
We arrived in Roses almost 7 hours after we left Cadaques, exhausted - mainly due to the heat. But that will be our longest walk on the Costa Brava. We're only walking a few sections - short distances and not every day. We're having lots of down time and will stay two nights in a few places. This morning, we are taking a bus, south to L'Estratit - and maybe a swim this afternoon!
