My final post before The French and I fly to Sydney tomorrow morning.
After 80 days travelling, I couldn't think of a better way to spend our last afternoon than in the extraordinary Sagrada Familia - surely the highlight of any trip to Barcelona. Domi and I were here in October 2014 - so pleased we paid another visit.
The light inside this space is exquisite. These pictures are taken with our modest cameras without flash or enhancement. I'm happy to have them but it's so much more beautiful in real life. Gaudi's vision to honour his God and his faith was all about the light. In his words,
'Glory is light. Light gives joy. And joy is the happiness of the spirit.'
I think it may be impossible not to feel happiness and wonder in this unique space. Nothing more to say, except ...
