Falling behind in my updates thanks to two late starts and long days.
Yesterday. Sunny skies - a bit too hot in the afternoon. A beautiful and challenging path, with a lovely surprise at the end of the day. Our room for the night- in a small hamlet - 8 kilometres from the last town, and 8 kilometres to the next - turned out to be a converted cabin, just for us.
Four cyclists had the yurt next door. And Sondra, the French girl we'd met the night before stayed in the main house. Demi-Pensione (dinner, bed and breakfast) was 43 euros each for the French and I, a bargain given we had our own little house! Fabulous.
Our accommodation tonight is a whole other story - not quite so fabulous! But we're lucky to have found a bed at all. Maybe I'll have time to write about that tomorrow night.
