We continue our road trip in Alsace and Lorraine with Rosanne, Ross and Wendy. Domi has done a great job putting together our itinerary, choosing wonderful chambre d'hotes and gites and guiding us in discovering new food and wines. We have spent the last few days in a chalet gite in the small village of Le Grand Valtin in the mountains of Les Vosges. A ski resort in winter and with many lakes nearby, it's beautiful.
Wi fi is intermittent, touring and socialising are high on the agenda, and transferring photos from. My new camera continues to be a test of patience and resolve. So neither the time nor the inclination for blogging just now.
Maybe I will begin again in a few days time!
