Le Monastier to Landos - 30 + kms
A brief update as there is no wi fi in our gite - so writing this after a yummy dinner in the restaurant in this very small village.
A fabulous though tough day on the Stevenson Way. Lots of climbing and steep descents on rocky paths - every step an opportunity to roll an ankle or slip and slide. The French and I are both pretty good on the climbing - that's just endurance and willpower. But on the way down, Domi is quick and sure like a mountain goat. I'm slow and reticent - think I'm more like Stevenson's donkey, Modestine!
More up and down tomorrow, but not as steep.
